The challenge was to create a kitchen drawer organizer that is strong and durable enough to stand up to a lifetime of daily use. From extensive research and testing, we identified three common weak points and reinforced them - the base, corners, and center brace.

Many products may look similar but only Stedware features all of these small strengthening tweaks that make a big difference.

Reinforced, braced base.

We know silverware weighs a lot, so we have added two full length braces and a wide cross brace in the center to ensure the base is fully supported and will never collapse under load.

Thicker, stronger center brace.

Every time the drawer is opened or closed the silverware impacts the center brace resulting in the dividers inevitably disintegrating. To prevent this, the center brace thickness was increased by 90% and reinforced with stainless steel pins so it can now easily withstand the impact of repeated daily use.

Box jointed corners.

The outer frame also sustains a lot of impact, so box jointed corners reinforced with stainless steel pins have been added to keep the frame rigid - much stronger than standard butt or rebate joints, guaranteed to stand up to a lifetime of use.
